Awolnation is an American rock band, formed in 2010 in Los Angeles. The band is best known for its 2011 single “Sail”, which became a viral hit and peaked at number 17 on the Billboard Hot 100.
The band’s debut album, Megalithic Symphony, was released in 2011 and reached number 5 on the Billboard 200. The album’s second single, “Not Your Fault”, peaked at number 20 on the Alternative Songs chart. The band’s second album, Run, was released in 2015 and reached number 3 on the Billboard 200. The album’s lead single, “Hollow Moon (Bad Wolf)”, peaked at number 5 on the Alternative Songs chart.
