The Shins
The Shins have announced that they will be performing at the KEMBA Live! on Sunday September 4th, 2022. The Shins are an American indie rock band from Albuquerque, New Mexico, formed in 1996. The band consists of James Mercer, Jon Sortland, Mark Watrous, Casey Foubert, and Yuuki Matthews. The Shins have released five studio albums: Oh, Inverted World (2001), Chutes Too Narrow (2003), Wincing the Night Away (2007), Port of Morrow (2012), and Heartworms (2017). The band’s music has been featured in several films and TV shows, including Garden State, Zach Braff’s directorial debut, and the Netflix series Stranger Things. The Shins’ most recent album, Heartworms, was released in 2017 to critical acclaim. The Shins are currently signed to Aural Apothecary and Columbia Records.
